Colleen A. Kraft, MD, MBA, FAAP is Professor of Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and attending physician at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She serves as Senior Medical Director at Cognoa, Inc.
Dr. Kraft is the 2018 Past President of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her M.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Kraft’s interests include the study of technology and its role in addressing health disparities in children.
Artificial intelligence and the potential to improve the path to diagnosis and care for children living with behavioral health conditions
In pediatric behavioral healthcare, the opportunities for artificial intelligence (AI) to improve current processes and outcomes are vast. AI offers potential solutions to behavioral healthcare challenges ranging from gender, racial and geographic evaluation and access biases to diagnostic bottlenecks and workforce shortages. This session will highlight AI-based innovations in this space including insights and outcomes based on currently available and emerging technologies.
